Purchaser terms
Edition: 2026.07, effective as of July 16, 2026
These Purchaser Terms govern the purchase and use of the PSYLLPRO paid subscription plan ("PRO", "Subscription") offered on the Psyll platform https://psyll.com. These Purchaser Terms supplement, and form an integral part of, the general Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between these Purchaser Terms and the Terms and Conditions with respect to paid Subscriptions, these Purchaser Terms shall prevail.
By initiating a purchase of the PRO Subscription, the User confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Purchaser Terms.
1. Description of the subscription plans
1.1. Free plan. Psyll offers a free-of-charge plan, available without registration limits, which includes limited access to certain premium articles, display of partner advertisements, a standard newsletter, and the ability to publish short-form posts (up to 400 characters).
1.2. PRO plan. The PSYLLPRO paid Subscription provides the User with the following benefits, current details of which are published and kept up to date at https://psyll.com/pro:
- Unlimited access to all articles, without paywalls or content restrictions.
- An ad-free reading experience, with partner advertisements disabled across the Platform.
- A premium newsletter, including exclusive insights and early access to selected content.
- The ability to publish longer posts (up to 800 characters).
1.3. Changes to benefits. The Administrator reserves the right to modify, expand, or reduce the scope of PRO benefits. Material reductions in benefits will be communicated to active subscribers in advance via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.
2. Price, billing, and payment processing
2.1. Price. The current price of the PRO Subscription is published at https://psyll.com/pro and is presented prior to purchase. The Administrator reserves the right to change subscription prices in the future. Any price change will be communicated to existing subscribers in advance and will take effect no earlier than the User's next billing cycle following such notice; continued use of the Subscription after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
2.2. Billing cycle. The PRO Subscription is billed on a recurring, automatically renewing monthly basis. The Subscription renews automatically at the then-current price at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand in accordance with Section 4.
2.3. Payment processor. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), an independent third-party payment services provider. Psyll does not collect, process, or store the User's full payment card details or other sensitive payment credentials; these are handled directly by Stripe in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy, available at https://stripe.com/legal and https://stripe.com/privacy. By purchasing a Subscription, the User also agrees to be bound by Stripe's applicable terms governing the payment transaction.
2.4. Taxes. Prices displayed may be subject to applicable value-added tax (VAT) or other taxes, which will be calculated and disclosed at checkout in accordance with the User's billing location, as determined by Stripe.
2.5. Failed payments. If a renewal payment cannot be processed (e.g., due to an expired card or insufficient funds), the Administrator, via Stripe, may retry the charge. If payment is not successfully collected within a reasonable grace period, the Subscription may be downgraded to the Free plan.
3. Withdrawal, refunds, and cancellation
3.1. Right of withdrawal. Where the User is a consumer within the meaning of applicable EU or Polish law, the User has the right to withdraw from the Subscription contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason, in accordance with statutory consumer protection rules.
3.2. Immediate access and loss of withdrawal right. By actively requesting immediate access to PRO benefits upon purchase (which occurs automatically at checkout), the User expressly requests that performance of the service begin before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledges that, to the extent the service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal is lost once the digital content or service has been fully supplied, in accordance with applicable law.
3.3. Refund requests. Notwithstanding Section 3.2, refund requests may be submitted to contact@psyll.com and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, including in cases of technical failure attributable to the Platform, duplicate charges, or unauthorized transactions. Refunds, where granted, are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe.
3.4. Cancellation. The User may cancel the automatic renewal of the Subscription at any time via the account settings panel or by contacting contact@psyll.com. Upon cancellation, no further charges will be made, and the PRO benefits will remain active until the end of the then-current paid billing period, after which the account will revert to the Free plan. Cancellation does not entitle the User to a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the current billing period, except as required by applicable law.
4. Downgrade and effect on content
4.1. Upon expiry, cancellation, or downgrade of the PRO Subscription, content previously published by the User in excess of the Free plan's character limits will remain published as originally submitted but will not be editable beyond the Free plan's limits going forward.
4.2. Reverting to the Free plan will result in the reinstatement of partner advertisements and premium content restrictions described in Section 1.1.
5. No investment, legal, or professional advice
For the avoidance of doubt, purchase of the PRO Subscription grants access to additional content and functionality only. It does not alter the informational and educational character of the Platform's content, as described in the Legal Disclaimer and the Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Purchaser Terms shall be construed as investment, legal, medical, or tax advice.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and consistent with Section 5 of the Terms and Conditions, the Administrator's liability arising from the provision of the PRO Subscription is limited to the amount paid by the User for the Subscription in the billing period in which the relevant event occurred, save for liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory applicable law.
7. Changes to these terms
The Administrator reserves the right to amend these Purchaser Terms, in particular to reflect changes in pricing, payment processing arrangements, or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email or prominent notice on the Platform in advance of their effective date. The current version is always available at https://psyll.com/purchaser-terms.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Purchaser Terms are governed by Polish law and, where applicable, EU consumer protection law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts competent for the Administrator's registered seat, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules granting the User the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their own place of residence.
