About Us
Psyll is an independent intelligence platform built for people who need to understand the world, not just follow it. We cover global affairs, science, technology, business, and conflict - not as isolated news items, but as interconnected developments with causes, consequences, and trajectories. We publish for decision-makers, professionals, and informed readers who have limited time and zero tolerance for noise.
We are not a traditional newsroom, and we don't pretend to be. We are a network of analysts, researchers, and journalists who use AI as a central part of how we work - and we say so openly, because transparency matters. AI allows us to process more information, identify more connections, and produce more rigorous first drafts than any purely human team of our size could manage. What it cannot replace is editorial judgment: deciding what is worth covering, how a story should be framed, whether a source is trustworthy, and whether a conclusion is actually supported by the evidence. Every article published on Psyll passes through human editorial review before it reaches you. Psyll launched in March 2026. We're early in that journey, but the standards we've set for ourselves - documented, public, and non-negotiable - are ones we intend to keep as we grow.
AI-assisted research
We use AI to process large volumes of information, surface relevant connections, and draft structured analysis. Human editors then verify, contextualize, and authorize every piece before publication.
Human editorial judgment
Every article is reviewed and authorized by a human editor. We hold ourselves to documented standards - including a public corrections policy - because accountability shouldn't be optional.
Own technology stack
We built and operate our own platform. This gives us full control over how content is structured, sourced, and delivered - without relying on third-party publishing infrastructure.
Editorial independence
We are not affiliated with any political party, government, or corporate interest. Our editorial decisions are made independently, and our funding sources are disclosed in our advertising policy.
Source transparency
We cite primary sources and link to originals wherever possible. When sources are confidential or indirect, we say so. We don't treat "trust us" as an acceptable substitute for evidence.
Signal over noise
We write for people who don't have time for filler. Our articles are structured to deliver the key facts, context, and implications clearly - without padding, speculation dressed as analysis, or manufactured urgency.

If you're tired of superficial coverage and want deeper, better-verified insights - welcome to Psyll. We're building something designed to last, and that means getting it right matters more to us than getting it first.
