Terms of use Automated Trading Bots

Effective Date: July 21, 2025

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the automated trading bot functionalities provided through the Psyll platform (“Psyll”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using any trading bot on the platform, you (“you”, “User”) agree to these legally binding terms. If you do not accept them in full, you may not use the bot services.

1. Scope of the Service

Psyll provides access to configurable automated trading bots designed to transmit trade signals (buy/sell instructions) to your connected cryptocurrency exchange account via secure API integration.

These bots do not have access to your funds. Psyll does not store, or hol your assets in any way. Instead, Psyll serves as a bridge between your configuration and your exchange - sending API requests to execute trades based solely on the rules you define.

⚠️ Important: The use of trading bots on Psyll is available exclusively to users with an active PRO subscription. If your subscription expires, access to all bot-related features will be immediately restricted or suspended without prior notice. Reactivating your subscription may restore access, but Psyll is not responsible for any loss, delay, or missed opportunity resulting from lapses in subscription status.

2. Eligibility and Access

To access and use the trading bots, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or of legal age in your jurisdiction).
  • Have full legal capacity to enter into agreements.
  • Maintain an active PRO-level subscription on your Psyll account.
  • Have a valid account on a supported cryptocurrency exchange.
  • Use the platform in accordance with all applicable laws and exchange rules.

Psyll may refuse access to bots to any user, at any time, for reasons including but not limited to abuse, suspected misconduct, or non-compliance with these Terms.

3. Risk Acknowledgment

By using automated trading bots, you confirm that you understand and accept the following:

  • Psyll bots only submit signals — they do not verify, analyze, or filter your strategy decisions.
  • You bear full responsibility for the bot’s performance and behavior.
  • Trading cryptocurrency is highly volatile and may result in total or partial financial loss.
  • Psyll provides no guarantees of profitability, performance, uptime, or execution reliability.

Use of bots is entirely at your own risk. Psyll assumes no responsibility for consequences resulting from your chosen strategies or configurations.

4. Service Limitations and Subscription Dependency

  • Bots are exclusively available to users with an active PRO subscription. This includes access to bot creation, configuration, execution, signal delivery, and historical performance insights.
  • If your PRO plan is downgraded, paused, cancelled, or otherwise interrupted, your bots may immediately stop functioning.
  • Psyll is not liable for missed trades, market movement, or financial losses due to subscription lapses or access restrictions.

The platform does not automatically reactivate bots once a subscription is restored; you must verify configurations and resume activity manually.

5. User Responsibilities

You, as the account holder, are solely responsible for:

  • Connecting your exchange account via API keys with appropriate permissions (read & trade only).
  • Reviewing, testing, and confirming the correctness of all configurations before use.
  • Monitoring your bot’s behavior and performance regularly.
  • Ensuring your API credentials are safely stored and periodically rotated.
  • Immediately disabling bots and revoking API access if you suspect any compromise.

Any trading activity executed via signals sent by Psyll is considered to be your direct action.

6. Third-Party Exchanges

Psyll supports integration with various third-party exchanges via API. You acknowledge that:

  • Psyll does not control exchange behavior or availability.
  • Execution of trades is the responsibility of the exchange, not Psyll.
  • You are subject to any restrictions, fees, limits, or penalties imposed by the exchange.

Psyll is not liable for issues caused by:

  • API rate limits or timeouts.
  • Exchange outages, maintenance, or trading halts.
  • API changes that disrupt signal transmission.

7. Security and Data Access

We take platform and user data security seriously. However:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Psyll credentials and API keys.
  • You should never use API keys with withdrawal access.
  • Psyll does not assume responsibility for unauthorized access due to poor credential hygiene or unsafe storage practices on your part.

8. Modifications and Interruptions

We may update or change features related to bots at any time, including limiting availability to certain user tiers or suspending service for maintenance.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of major updates, but we do not guarantee prior warning for all changes. Access to bots may be suspended without notice due to technical, legal, or operational reasons.

9. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to bot functionality if:

  • You violate these Terms or applicable laws.
  • Your behavior poses a threat to platform integrity, other users, or third parties.
  • Your subscription becomes inactive or is cancelled.

We may also restrict accounts based on fraud prevention, abuse detection, or regulatory obligations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Psyll and its team are not liable for:

  • Financial loss, loss of opportunity, or damages caused by bot behavior.
  • Any malfunction, misconfiguration, or failure to execute orders.
  • Exchange-side issues or data feed inaccuracies.
  • Suspension of your subscription or access due to billing or policy violations.

Psyll offers tools, not trading advice. You assume full responsibility for how those tools are used.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Psyll, its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of:

  • Your use or misuse of the bot services.
  • Any breach of these Terms.
  • Activity or trading carried out via your connected API keys.

12. Changes to the Terms

Psyll may update these Terms periodically. Major changes will be announced, but we encourage you to review this page regularly. Continued use of bots after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
