Your Correspondence Code is a unique identifier tied to your Psyll account. It's designed to protect you from phishing emails - fraudulent messages sent by people impersonating our service.

Every legitimate email we send - including transaction confirmations, system alerts, and security notifications - will include your personal correspondence code. This gives you a simple way to verify that a message is actually from us.

Why is this important?

Phishing scams are getting more sophisticated. Scammers can create emails that look identical to our official communications. By setting up your own correspondence code, you ensure that any real email from us will contain it. If an email lacks the code or has an incorrect one, you should immediately cease all interaction with it and report it to our security team.

How to set up your code

  • Log in to psyll.com and go to "User Account" > "Security."
  • Select "Set correspondence code."
  • Enter your chosen code.
  • Confirm it. From that point on, every email from the platform will include your code.

Code rules

  • Max length: 16 characters.
  • Allowed characters: Latin letters (A-Z, a-z) and numbers (0-9).
  • No spaces or special characters.

Adhering to these rules ensures your code is correctly saved and recognized by our system.

Tips for a good code

  • Don't use your password or any part of it.
  • Pick something memorable for you but hard for others to guess.
  • Use an unconventional mix of letters and numbers, like Sky9Wolf7.
  • Change your code immediately if you think someone has discovered it.

What to do if an email is suspicious

If an email looks like it's from Psyll but doesn't have your code, or the code is wrong:

  • Don't click any links or download any attachments.
  • Do not reply.
  • Report the message to our support team.

Keep in mind: The correspondence code is an extra security measure. It's not a substitute for standard online safety practices, but when used with a strong password and 2FA, it significantly enhances your account's security.
