Looking to automate your crypto trading on the MEXC exchange? This tutorial will walk you through the secure generation and setup of API keys.
Explore supported exchanges, set limits, and connect accounts securely through API integration.
This instruction manual describes in detail how to create and properly configure API keys on the MEXC exchange, enabling automated trading on the SPOT market through the Psyll platform. This integration will allow the Psyll platform to directly execute buy and sell orders for cryptocurrencies on your account, while you maintain complete control over your assets.
API keys are required to connect your MEXC account with Psyll and must be treated as confidential passwords. Their security is paramount, as anyone with access could carry out operations on your account based on the permissions you've granted. During this setup, the key permissions will be restricted to SPOT trading features only, preventing any withdrawals or access to other account functions. Psyll never needs access to your funds and is not authorized to make withdrawals for you.
Before starting, please make sure your MEXC account is fully active: identity verification is enabled, your account is free of restrictions or blocks, and there are funds available for trading in your SPOT wallet.
Log into your MEXC account. Open a browser and navigate to [podejrzany link usunięto]. Log in to your account with your email or phone number and password.
From the main account menu, move your cursor to the My Account icon, and then choose API Management. This is where you can create and edit API keys as well as track their activity.
On the API Management page, you'll find a form for creating a key, where you must define its permissions and security settings with precision.
Under the SPOT section, check all three mandatory options:
In the Notes field, type in a name for your API key, which will help you identify it later.
In the "Link IP Address" field, type in the address 74.248.136.25
. This IP belongs to the Psyll servers that handle sending orders. Limiting access to this address improves the security of the connection.
Once you have entered the IP address, click "Confirm."
Confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to the MEXC regulations.
Click "Create" button
After clicking "Create," the MEXC system will prompt you to complete a security verification. Based on your account settings, this could involve:
This verification is meant to confirm your identity and prevent the unauthorized generation of API keys.
After verification is complete, the system will display the newly created keys: an Access Key and a Secret Key.
Copy both keys and save them in a secure place, such as a password manager or an encrypted file to which you have exclusive access.
Click "Confirm" to finish the key creation process.
Your API key is now set up to start automated Psyll trading on the MEXC SPOT market. All transactions will be executed exclusively within your account and with the permissions you've assigned.
Periodically check the activity of your keys in the API Management area of MEXC. In case of a suspected security compromise, deactivate the key right away and generate a new one. Restricting access to a single, dedicated IP address and granting the minimum necessary permissions provides the highest level of security for automated SPOT trading.
